The parent of the CudgenConsolidated Rutile group, Cudgen R.Z., Ltd, is omitting interim dividend—after a fall of almost slm in its pre-tax profit for the 28 weeks to January 12. Last year the company paid 3c a share (6 per cent), and the year before, 6c. The parent company is responsible for most of the profit fall, from $2.4m to sl.4m.
