GV Z Press Associations BLENHEIM, Feb. 20. j The Las Vegas businessmen who last year caused a controversy with their proposal to build a casino near Picton will be back to New Zealand in a few weeks. This time they hope to Interest the Picton Borough Council and the Government in a project that is closely associated with the tourist industry, but is entirely divorced from gambling. Cr J. Howat told the Picton Borough Council this week that he had received word from the Americans about their travel plans, i “They are sure that this time their proposals will find favour in the district,” he said.
