Deavoll and S. M. Glenday 2. Handicap singles.—Norcliffe 1, Mrs E. Edie 2. Final results from the handicap singles event were:— Round I.—Mrs R. Aitcheson (61 beat Mrs A. Willetts (10|). 26-14: Mrs C. Aris (12) beat Mrs S. Weir (9), 26-17. Round 2.—Mrs C. Angus (9J) beat Mrs D. Bishop (6J), 26-8; Mrs E. Edie (51) beat Mrs A. Matheson (6). 26-23; Mrs Aris beat Mrs J. Janson (SJ), 26-9; J. Norcliffe (101) beat N. McKenzie (BJ)> 26*12; Mrs Aitcheson beat Mrs N. Scott (12), 26-20. Round 3.—Norcliffe beat R. Kirk (6), 26-19; Mrs Edie beat Mrs J. Kennedy (10), 26-19; R. Foote (11J) beat Mrs Angus, 26-23; Mrs Aitcheson beat Mrs Aris, 26-20. Semi-finals.—Mrs Edie beat Foote, 26-22; Norcliffe beat Mrs Aitcheson. 26-5. Final.—Norcliffe beat Mrs Edie, 26-9.
