UP HILL AND DOWN HILL-TOP: TOP: The 1926 Ford of Mr M. J. Sisson and the 1929 Dodge of Mr I. R. Lamb almost at the summit of the Whangamoa hill, about 15 miles from Nelson. They were among about 400 cars which checked in at the close of the tours section of the international vintage and veteran car rally. BOTTOM: The 1925 Ford of Mr W. A. Sinclair leads the 1925 Dodge of Mr A. A. Hunter down the Whangamoa hill, the last difficult part of the route to Nelson and the final check point for the tours section of the rally.
