Christchurch, at noon on Friday, March 3, 1972, are invited for the purchase of standing P. radiata timber in Eyrewell Forest. 2— Eight lots each containing a volume of 100,000 cu. ft are offered for sale, and each lot will be sold separately. 3— Price is to be in cents and tenths of a cent per cu. ft (stumpage) and a separate price is required for each lot. A separate price is required for sawlogs, peeler logs, posts, poles and other roundwood. 4— Tenderers may submit a Srice for one or more lots, but re Conservator reserves the right to allocate. s—The term of sale, for each lot, will be one year, as from April 1, 1972, and there will be no right of renewal, and no extension of the sale period. 6—The sale will be made on an output basis with all logs either measured and tallied for volume on the forest using the appropriate Forest Service Log Volume Table, or by weight on Forest Service or other convenient weigh-bridge. Purchasers will be required to produce material for particle-board for the N.Z. Forest Service, at an agreed price, from arisings from the logging operations. 7—Applicants must state in what form timber is to be utilised and preference will be f iven to proposals which provide or maximum conversion and complete utilisation for all material other than required by the N.Z. Forest Service. B—Prospective tenders should inspect each lot by examination on the ground. Inspection is to be made by arrangements with the Officer in Charge, Eyrewell Forest. Plans showing the location of each lot are available from the Conservator of Forests, P.O. Box 513, Christchurch, or the Officer in Charge, Eyrewell. 9—Each sale will be made in the Terms and Conditions of the N.Z.
