Breeders’ officers
The annual meeting of the Canterbury - Marlborough - Westland branch of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association last evening elected the following officers:— President, Mr A. J. Blakeley; vice-president, Mr A. R. Bussell; secretary, Mr M. O’Brien; treasurer, Mr W. G. Quirk; committee, Messrs R. E. Adair (ex officio), D. Abbott, D. B. C. Allin, J. T. AspinaU, D. B. Clarkson, J. B. Forsyth, M. J. Minehan, G. H. Murfitt, L. H. Power, M. B. Savffl, Miss J. Wilding, and Mrs D. B. Clarkson (co-opted member).
