SCALDED BY STEAM

A man’s eyelids, cheeks and forehead were badly scalded when he unscrewed the radiator cap of an overheated car near Ashburton on Friday afternoon. The injured man was Mahanga Hema, of 11 Gilby Street, Avonside, Christchurch. He was taken to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance.
