Teaching English to foreigners
Teaching English To Foreigners. By Guy and Angela Wilson. Batsford. 126 pp. Index. The last decade has seen a remarkable increase in the number of Asian students in local schools and universities, and teachers are faced with the common problem of improving their English to an efficient level. The difficulties encountered are considerable, and this book provides a basically sound guide to die subject. However, it is unlikely that many trained teachers in this country will find the book of more, than limited use because of its elementary nature. On the other hand, it will prove useful to nonteachers who want to offer language assistance to foreigners.
