Bomb attack on home

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) TOKYO, Dec. 29. An explosion rocked the house of a high ranking Tokyo police official, killing his wife and injuring their son, United Press International reported. Police said it may have been a homicide by bombing engineered by Left-wing extremists, and launched an investigation. Mrs Tamiko Tsuchia, 47, died immediately in the living room of het single-family residence. She was the wife of Kuniyasu Tsuchida, chief of the training and personnel division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Their son, Kyoshiro, aged 13, was seriously injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital, police reported.
