Greens for the New Zealand Bowling Association’s fifty-seventh championship tournament, beginning' th Dunedin today, will be a little slower after rain, but are in quite good order. Among the 1800 players competing this year are more than 40 previous New Zealand champions. In the fours, there are 1592 players, in the pairs, 1536, and in the singles, 984. They will be playing on 35 greens in and round Dunedin.
