Moto-cross at Omata
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. A top British rider, Randy Owens, won the international moto-cross held by the North Taranaki Motor-cycle Club at Omata on Sunday. He and his brother, Rowley, are in New Zealand for the moto-cross series. Results:— Up to 350 c.c., scratch: A. Collinson (Palmerston North) 1, L. Love (Wanganui) 2, R. Boyce (South Island) 3. Dixon Brothers open.—Scratch: Randy Owens (U.K.) 1, Collison 2, P. Ploen (Wanganui) 3. B grade, race 1: R. Bartley (Wanganui) 1. R. Bunyan (Stratford) 2, G. Harrop (Opunake) 3. Race 2: P.
