PETROL TAX REVENUE
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. Local authorities’ revenue from the petrol tax during October was $1.25m, said a spokesman for the Department of Internal Affairs today. This brought the revenue received since the tax was levied in February to $10.9m. It is estimated the tax will yield about $16.5m in its first' year. 1
