WORLD BANK LOAN TO N.Z.
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copuright) WASHINGTON, Dec. 12. New Zealand has concluded negotiations in Washington with the World Bank for a loan, understood to be of SUSBm.
Announcing the completion of the negotiations, the managing director of the Development Finance Corporation (Mr S. J. R. Chattan) said the money would be used to assist in the restructuring and development of New Zealand industry. He expressed confidence that the loan would enable the corporation to play a much more positive role in the development of industry in New Zealand.
