TIGHT FINISH TO HACK STAYERS’ EVENT.— Bun Tuck (breast plate) beating Tally Simm (obscured) by a nose in the L. Derrett Handicap at Riccarton on Saturday. Donnybrook Fair (jockey second from rails) was half a neck back, third, and Guilty Party (No. 15) was a nose away, fourth. There was a similar margin to Silver Head (rails) then a length to Sudden Change (No. 9).
