No decision on boxing

(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) NEW ORLEANS. Officials of the rival organisations governing boxing, the World Boxing Association and the World Boxing Council, who met last week for a general discussion of the sport’s problems took no decisions, a W.B.A. official said on Saturday. "Nothing was decided because any proposal would have to be taken up by the executive committees of the respective organisations,” he added. “We tried to get together on international questions, principally championships. We would like to eliminate dual titles, and eventually have international ratings.” No date was set for further discussion.
