Cannon stolen

Three bronze cannon, weighing nine tons and with a total value of £15,000 sterling, were stolen during last night from a shooting school near London. Two of the cannon, described as the finest in Britain, were recovered only four years ago from the wreck of a British warship which foundered in 1707 near the Isles of Scilly. The third, probably Spanish, was brought back in 1800 from the Peninsular War. The scrap value of the guns is estimated at £4ooo.—London, Dec. 12.
