Karting prize to U.S. driver
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) HONG KONG. G. Emmick, of the United States, won the international champion-of-champions final of the fifth Hong Kong International Karting Prix, completing 45 laps in 35min 40 sec.
Akira Tanabe, of Japan, was hurt when his go-kart overturned in the last race—the 200 c.c. international Bsuper. He was rushed to hospital. M. Allen, of Wood Green, London, who won the first >art of the race, was unlucky, le had engine troubles twice, and ended up second, o.9sec behind Emmick.
Allen earlier complained the races were "very dirty.”
