MALVERN Set to score 153, a target which should have well within its reach, Darfield lost by 46 runs to Greendale on Saturday. C. Chapman, who took five for 50, bowled out the competition leader. The outstanding bowling, though, was by P. Blakely (South Malvern), who followed up his first innings five for 33 with five for 44. Sheffield owed a lot for its outright win to N. Q. Wright and P. Jenkins. Wright made 46 and 52, and Jenkins, unbeaten in both innings, scored 67 and 37.
