Woman found dead on beach

AUCKLAND, December .6. The body of an elderly woman was found on the beach at Blockhouse Bay this afternoon. She was Mrs Rosetta Stanton-Batt, aged 80, of Blockhouse Bay. It is thought that Mrs Stanton-Batt had been for a swim at the beach and was returning home when she collapsed.
