CIRCUIT IN ASIA

Japanese proposal (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) TOKYO. The Japan Lawn Tennis Association said yesterday it had proposed the establishment of an Asian tennis circuit to six countries. The proposal has been made in letters to South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore, an association spokesman said. If a minimum of three countries agree to the proposal, the association plans to hold the first circuit in October or November next year. Four male and two female players each from the United States and European zones will be invited to the circuit.
