Player’s life ban lifted

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON.

The English Football Association has lifted a life ban imposed in 1963 on Keith Williams, the former Bristol Rovers player who is at present in South Africa. It had suspended Williams after a nation-wide bribery scandal.

He is the second player to have a life suspension lifted. His name sake, Brian Williams, the former Mansfield Town player who was suspended at the same time, had his ban lifted in September.
