LANDSCAPE INSPECTION.—Paparua County Conn cillors inspecting landscaping projects at the Harewood property of the Isaac Construction Company, Ltd. The county chairman, Mr D. H. Warren, said: “We are proud to have this property in our county. The company has done a wonderful job in restoring industrial quarries to make a positive contribution to the environment.” The project won for the firm the 1971 award of the New Zealand Association of Landscape Designers “for outstanding contribution to the New Zealand landscape.” The photograph shows councillors viewing one of the ornamental lakes and attractive plantings. Many kinds of wildlife have now become established in the area.
