UV.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) VALLETTA. Delegates at the world amateur billiards championship have formed a World Billiard and Snooker Council, it was announced on Saturday.

The chairman of the counIcil will be Mr Leonard OldI ham, of England. It has been decided that 'lndia will stage the 1973 Iworld amateur billiards championship and the 1975 event will be held in New Zealand. The 1972 world amateur snooker championship is to be played in Ceylon with Eire hosting the championship in 1974 and South Africa in 1976.
