McLeod, a former president (56 years service); Miss H. K. Lovell-Smith, a past general secretary of the Timaru Association and Christchurch member for 24 years; Mrs Owen Mitchell, a past president (27 years); and Miss E. A. Prebble (42 years). During the function the members signed the association’s long-service record book. Mrs McLeod, Mrs Mitchell, and Miss Lovell-Smith are honorary life members.
