SUSPENSE STORY

A girl in a darkened art gallery, waiting to steal a painting, in order to make the gallery owner accept a quite different painting for display —this is the unusual situation viewers will find themselves witnessing in “Stealers of Darkness.” An eccentric elderly artist, his admiring girl pupil, and an ageing beauty who has always stood by him, are the key figures in a 90-minute drama of suspense, with some unexpected twists, the best of which occurs at the end.

Written by Nigel Green, the play was produced by John Sichel for I.T.C. It stars Nigel Green, Edna Dore, and Fidelma Murphy, and will screen from CHTV3 on Monday afternoon.
