The Stabilisation of Remuneration Amendment Bill, the Appropriation Bill (No. 2), the Gaming Amendment Bill, and the Seamen’s Union Funds Bill were read a third time and passed. The membership of a Select Committee to study Parliamentary procedure during the recess was announced.
The Perpetual Trustees, Estate and Agency Company Amendment Bill was returned with amendments. The Hire Purchase Bill was referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. Ministers answered 11 questions.
