EVENING SITTINGS
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 25. Parliament will sit in the evenings only next week and a decision will be taken later whether it will sit on Friday, the Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) told the House today.
Originally it had been intended that the House would go into recess for the whole of next week to enable select committees to catch up with their work.
The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk) had suggested that the House sit in the evenings, and Sir Keith Holyoake agreed.
