Japan won seven of the 11 events on the second day of a two-day match against United States swimmers in Tokyo to total 12 victories to the Americans’ 10. The American star, M. Spitz, completed a treble when he won the 200 metres freestyle in 2min 2.9 sec. He won the 100 metres butterfly and the 100 metres freestyle yesterday.
