Water polo selection
A strong Canterbury water polo team has been chosen to compete in the national schoolboys’ tournament in Auckland at Labour Week-end.
It- is to be captained by the New Zealand senior trialist, P. R. Tweedie, and other prominent Canterbury underage representatives chosen are M. A. Harding, C. D. Robinson, and K. Burrows, the goalie.
The full team, chosen by Messrs O. A. Chappell and T. M. McGirr, is: Tweedie (captain), G. Crawford (vicecaptain), Burrows, Harding, Robinson, M. Callanan, M. A. Chappell, R. Clark.
