Art prize

The Wellington artist, Brent Wong, took the first prize money of $5OO in the Tokoroa Art Centre’s competition, judged last weekend. His winning painting, entitled "Experimental Light,” featured sombre colours, in acrylic on hardboard. Mr Wong said it was his first win in an art competition. He saw the entry forms in a Wellington gallery, and decided to enter.
