Andrews and Beaven, Ltd, reports that the company traded satisfactorily in the year to June 30. A pre-tax profit of $1,151,233 was earned, which compares favourably with the previous year’s result, the directors say. Last year pre-tax profit of $1,188,554 was earned—including 15 months trading by the General Accessory Company, Ltd. A final dividend of 4 per cent, will be recommended, giving an unchanged 8 per cent for the year. It will be payable on October 28, ex dividend, October. 19.’ Gr.
