New bowls officers

The recent death of Mr J. Owen, who was senior vicepresident, has resulted in three changes in the officers of the Christchurch Bowling Centre. At a meeting of the centre this week, Mr M. S. Robinson was elected senior vicepresident, with Mr W. J. Hanger remaining as junior vice-president. Mr Robinson’s position on the executive has been taken by Mr F. S. Cornelius, and Mr R. R. Pawsey has filled the gap left by Mr Owen on the bowl testing committee.
