Humes profit up .

The net profit of Humes, Ltd, Australia, increased $311,000, or 13.6 per cent, to $2,540,000 in the year to Juna 30, the directors have rer ported. The provision for tax was $77,000 lower at $2,311,000, and the provision for depreciation was $76,000 higher at $3,089,000. Gross sales and other trading income was $71.8m. A final dividend of 6} per cent, making an unchanged 12} per cent for the year, is payable on October 15.
