No request on wool

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. The Wool Board had not yet made a formal request to the Government for support for the proposed wool marketing corporation, the Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) said tonight. The board had, -however, put a scheme to the Government for its study against a time when the board made a request for formal approval, he said after today’s Cabinet meeting.

The board was consulting Federated Fanners on the matter, Sir Keith Holyoake said.
