Inspectors use radio sets
(N.Z. treat Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 6. Port agriculture inspectors are using portable radio transmitters to speed clearances and decision on the Auckland waterfront. The Port Agriculture Officer (Mr F. N. Flint) said today that inspectors could be directed to where they were needed, rather than have to go to and fro between the office and the inspection. They were using 17 sets through a base at the office.
