ALGERIAN VISIT

MOSCOW, Aug. 31. The Soviet Prime Minister (Mr Alexei Kosygin) would visit Algeria in October as part of Russia’s continuing policy of top-level consultation abroad, it was announced in Moscow last night The Soviet news agency, Tass, in announcing the visit said it was to be made at the invitation of the Algerian Prime Minister, Colonel Houari Boumedienne. A similar announcement was made in Algiers. Although no dates for the visits were given, Mr Kosygin may be in Algiers at the same - time Communist Party leader, Mr Leonid Brezhnev, and the Soviet President, Mr Nikolai Podgomy, were paying an official visit to France at the end of October.
