Eight under for round (X Z.P A.-Reuter—Copyright • HARRISON (New York). A. Palmer shot an eight-under-par 64 yesterday and took the first round lead in the rich Westchester golf tournament. Palmer was one stroke ahead of L. W’ood, a 32-year-old second year professional who had only 26 putts as he shot his career best of 65. The defending champion, B.
