The Jaguar Drivers’ Club’s Hermitage Rally last week-end was won by A. K. Archer (Jaguar Mk X) with P. J. Cordner (Rover 3-litre) second, and D. J. Penney (Jaguar) third. T. Gough (E-type) was fourth, and J. H. Visser (XJ6) fifth. Indianapolis single-seater, will be on display at Five Star Motors, Ltd, in Kilmore Street for the first three days of next week, and at Ferry Road Service Station on July 29, 30, and 31. * * ¥ Safety fuel cells and sixpoint seat harnesses will became a compulsory fitting in all single-seaters and sports-cars when these items are readily available in New Zealand, the Motorsport Association has announced.
