N.Z.-Japan talks
Press Association)
WELLINGTON, July 22. Foreign Ministry officials from Japan and New Zealand will resume their annual talks in Wellington tomorrow.
Described as “an exchange of views on matters of interest to the two countries,” the talks are held annually in Tokyo or Wellington.
Sources in the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that likely topics of discussion were mutual co-operation in Asia, international trade, Chinese representation, and Indo-China.
It was unlikely that any official statements would be made, the sources said.
