Alteration to document
The unusual decision to remove the official seal from a subdivision survey plan which had earlier been approved by the council was taken by the Heathcote County Council last evening. The council decided that it viewed with grave concern alterations to the document after the affixing of the signatures of the county chairman and county clerk, and that the surveyors should be asked to give a full, written explanation as to why they altered a document after it had been signed.
