WELLINGTON, July 21

The value of New Zealand exports (including re-exports) for the trade year ended June 1971, was $1131.1m f.o.b. compared with sloB7m for the previous year, according to provisional figures given today by the Government Statistician. There was a rise of $42.3m in the value of New Zealand produce exported in the 197071 trade year. This increase was spread over most exports although meat contributed more than half of this figure with an increase of $21.9m. Other gains were made with dairy products ($9.3m), casein ($4.4m), and timber ($4.6m). The value of wool exported decreased $15.9m on the figure for last year.
