Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 16. ; A man appearing for sentence in the Magistrate’s Court on charges arising from an incident in the Onehunga Hotel in which a man was struck with a hatchet, was told by Mr N. M. Izard, S.M., “You could have killed someone quite easily.”. He gaoled Chester Walter Brazendaie, aged 20, an unemployed driver, for two years on a charge of injuring with intent, and for 18 months on a charge of assault with intent to injure. The terms are to be concurrent. Brazendaie pleaded guilty to both charges when he appeared last week.
