Firemen still in hospital
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 15. Two firemen injured in an accident while on the way to a hoax call on Tuesday were reported to be progressing favourably in Middlemore Hospital today. One of the men, Mr Owen Woods, of Remuera, underwent an operation for severe facial injuries. He has a fractured cheekbone and lacerations to the face. The other man, Mr Jan Korstanji, of Takapuna, suffered similar injuries.
