Canterbury B wins, 12-3

Canterbury B partially overcame some of the worst conditions its players have probably ever encountered snow was falling at one stage when it scored four tries in beating Huruni, 12-3, at Waikari yesterday. With V. Stewart, E. R. Leask, and E. Thompson ensuring tidy line-out ball and W. Bugh and P. Horrocks helping to dominate the rucks, Canterburjrß'handled the trying conditions well to score three unconverted tries in the first half.

The weather deteriorated even more in the second half, and. snow was falling as Thompson scored an opportunist fourth try. Tries for Canterbury B were scored by. B. C. Cochrane, D. Hales, J. Ryan, and Thompson.
