Ambulance postings

WELLINGTON, June 21. Appointments to the two most important positions in the New Zealand St John Ambulance Brigade have been announced. Mr I. B. Campbell will become Chief Commissioner, and Miss Joyce Motley Superintendent in Chief (Nursing). They will take up their appointments on June 24.

Mr Campbell, the secretary of the Workers’ Compensation Board, was appointed chief commissioner of the Wellington district of the brigade in 1964, and in 1967 he was appointed deputy chief commissioner.

Miss Motley, matron of St Helens Hospital, has been a member of the St John Brigade headquarters staff since 1966 and the nursing cadets chief officer since 1967.
