Police move to Chch
Two new senior-sergeants had been appointed to the Christchurch police force, the commander of the Christchurch Police District (Chief Superintendent G. Tait) said on Monday. They are senior sergeants B. F. Hodge, of Nelson and J. F. Pollock, of Otaki. Both have been promoted recently from the rank of sergeant; they will transfer to Christchurch within two or three weeks.
