(From Our Own Reporter)

WELLINGTON, June 17. Tenders for Nelson’s new court room are likely to be called later this year. The Minister of Justice (Mr Riddiford), replying to a question by Mr S. A Whitehead (Labour, Nelson) said in Parliament today that working drawings and contract documents were being completed. Although the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Walker) could not give a firm date for the completion of the new television translator in Nelson, he told Parliament today he hoped it would be working towards the end of this year. He was replying to a question by Mr Whitehead.
