S.Z. hockey team
Canterbury has a monopoly of players in the South Island hockey team to play the North Island at Wellington on June 27.
Ten of the 11 players are from Canterbury, the other from ° The team, announced last evening by the selectors, Mr C. V. Walter (convener) and Dr B Berkeley, is:—
R. McHarg (Canterbury); R. H. Campbell (Otago), C. R. Ineson; A. Patterson, R. Thomson. W. Wright; A. Borren, J. H. Christensen (captain), B. J. Malster. J. J. Borren, W. A. Thomson (all Canterbury). Reserves: R. McCormack (Otago), T. Burrowes
(Canterbury). The umpires appointed for the match are Messrs R. H. Campbell (Canterbury) and D. R. Lloyd (Auckland)..
