Aust, office in Moscow

(N.Z Press Attn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, June 15.

The Australian Government has decided to establish a trade commissioner in Moscow to ensure better access for Australian exports, the "Sunday Australian” said. In a report from Canberra, the newspaper said that the decision came after a successful Russian application to open a trade centre in Sydney, But, it said, Government officials denied that the decision was taken as a result of this. The Russian Minister for Agriculture (Mr Matskevich) during recent talks in Canberra, had suggested that Australia should find markets in Eastern Russia for agricultural products because the costs of Australian exports might be cheaper than those railed from Baltic ports.
