Approval by caucus

(N.Z. frets Association) WELLINGTON, June 15. The caucus tonight “completely endorsed" the Government’s action in enforcing part 3 of the Stabilisation of Remuneration Act, the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Shelton) said.

Mr Shelton was chairman of the meeting because the Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) was preparing for tonight’s Budget debate in Parliament.

Mr Shelton said the Acting Minister of Labour (Mr Thomson) reported to the caucus on the Order-in-Council bringing in part 3. “The caucus is thoroughly satisfied about the present situation,” Mr Shelton said.
